Why we build on Microsoft Power Platform
We do not sell a locked system only we can change. We build on Microsoft’s platform — and after go-live, the application is yours.
Microsoft stands behind the platform — not a small local vendor
Power Platform is a Microsoft product. Stability, security, operations, and platform evolution are owned by a global company with decades of experience. We design and deliver solutions for your operations — but the foundation they run on does not depend on us. If you need certainty that the system will not vanish with one supplier, this is why.
What you get
Concrete advantages that proprietary software often lacks.
The app is yours
After implementation, the solution belongs to you. Data, logic, and the environment run in your Microsoft tenant — not on our servers.
Low-code you can really change
Power Apps and Power Automate are low-code tools. You can handle some changes yourselves — or any specialist who knows Power Platform. You are not locked into Efektio alone.
Connected to email
Outlook and Microsoft 365 are part of the ecosystem. Notifications, offers, and contracts leave from the tools you already use.
Documents in SharePoint
Folders for contracts, clients, and jobs are created automatically. Nothing gets lost in email attachments.
Audit and change history
Who changed what and when — Microsoft’s enterprise environment gives you auditability that a quick custom app often cannot.
User permissions
Roles and access can be set very finely. Everyone sees and edits only what they should — manager, sales, external user.
MCP and AI on live data
Through the Model Context Protocol we connect AI directly to app data. Ask in natural language — against what the company actually has.
Part of Microsoft 365
Teams, Excel, Word templates, Dataverse, Power Automate — everything can connect without another glue layer between systems.
The only downside: Microsoft licensing
Power Platform is not free — users need the right Microsoft licenses. At a few dollars per user per month, we still see it as a fair price: you get an enterprise platform, security, operations, and an ecosystem that custom development would cost far more to recreate. Licenses go to Microsoft — not to us as a hidden software rent.
Want to see Power Platform on your process?
We will demo it and tell you honestly whether it makes sense — including licensing.
